About Us Sons of Norway has over 69,000 members across the United States, Canada, and Norway.  Over 400 locally governed lodges make up eight geographical districts.  We are the Edvard Grieg Lodge chartered in Glendale, California.
Membership Through local lodge activities, members can celebrate their Norwegian Heritage in their own community and enrich that community by sharing their heritage with others.  From Torsk dinners to folk dancing, Christmas Julebord to Syttende Mai, and many other social events, lodge activities make the Norwegian heritage come alive!
Viking Magazine Viking magazine reaches more Scandinavian-Americans than all newspapers and periodicals in this special-interest field combined! Every month Viking magazine is sent to Sons of Norway members--people who are enthusiastic about their heritage. Viking magazine is one of the many benefits you receive when you become a member of Sons of Norway.
Grieg Notes Newsletter As an Edvard Grieg Lodge member, you'll receive our monthly newsletter, Grieg Notes. Our newsletter will keep you up to date on lodge activities and events, as well as provide interesting articles about classic and modern Norwegian culture.

Scandinavian Dinner May 19th.

Matthew Enger, son of Vice President Bill Enger, will give an illustrated presentation “School on the Fjord”. Our next event is the popular Scandinavian Dinner on May 19th.  Reservations are necessary for this dinner as we hire Glendale High School Bistro to partially cater th event, with other dishes provided by us.The students have done a great job the past two years, relieving us of the monster job of cooking and serving a very big crowd.

Our program this time is extremely special. Matthew Enger, son of Vice President Bill Enger, will give an illustrated presentation “School on the Fjord” about his two-year experience as a student at Flekke International School in Norway.
